The Australian Blues Music Festival is held on the second weekend of February every year in a variety of venues throughout the historic city of Goulburn in New South Wales. It is The National Festival of Australian Blues Music and showcases the very best of emerging and established Aussie blues talent. The line-up includes acoustic and electric acts with a range of styles from the roots of blues music to the music that has been influenced by blues.
In 2020, the festival will run over 3 days, 7 to 9 February featuring over 25 incredible blues acts at 7 fabulous pubs and clubs around beautiful Goulburn from midday through until 1am. In addition to this, in 2020 we are thrilled to welcome to the festival, the inclusion of the “Main Stage Blues Precinct” at Seiffert Oval operating Saturday & Sunday until 6pm. Enjoy the atmosphere at Seiffert oval with our awesome Blues marketplace complete with fabulous retail markets along with delicious food & drink selections, ‘The Blues Bar’ to enjoy a great selection of beer and wines (entire oval licenced) and most importantly our fabulous main stage entertainment featuring BACKSLIDERS, 2011 Aria Blues & Roots nominees and iTunes Australia Blues and Roots Album of the Year winners, Kate Lush Band, Liza Ohlback and many other fabulous acts, along with a celebration of local talent in School Yard Blues.
