There's a brand new live music venue in Brisbane! Brisbane Brew Partners and they want to have live blues and jazz music there on a regular basis. For the grand opening, 'The Demon Drink' (aptly named band to play at a brewery) will be performing from 2pm to 5pm. The Sleepy Hollow Blues Club is proud to announce the 24th Bluestone Blues Festival featuring a top line up of national and local bands. The event runs over New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and is held at the Murgheboluc Reserve, 20kms west of Geelong. Some people I know went to the Girrakool Blues festival this year and had a fabulous time. It's held on the Central Coast NSW, near Kariong, and according to Google Maps it's a 9 hour drive from Brisbane, so not too far down the Pacific Hwy. The Girrkool Blues festival is on 6-8 March next year. There is a great lineup for 2020.
