It’s been a long year without live music in our favourite venue, The Royal Mail Hotel.

BASEQ is celebrating Christmas and the lessening of restrictions with a bigger than ever Christmas Bash. Please come along and join the party.

If you haven’t seen Shakes Fear and the Skeleton Gang you’re in for a real treat – they’ll get this party started with a bang. Young, brash and exciting these guys will have you chair dancing from the first riff.

We all love BB Factory – one of our favourite bands is roaring up from the coast to turn up the heat. You won’t want to miss a single second.

And for the finale – who better than Minnie Marks? She may look sweet and quiet but she’s a force of nature – a crazy talented singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. We are so excited to have her finish up our celebration of all the good things to come in 2021.

This year’s Cyril Campbell Award will be presented during the afternoon to the fantastic Jimmy Budgen.  Since he first staged it 9 years ago Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues Festival has become a hugely popular event on the Australian music calendar. The hard work Jimmy and his team put into making the first live music festival since COVID-19 restrictions were imposed in March an outstanding success is impressive. That it was such a success without interstate festival goers and largely without interstate musicians is a tribute to his abilities to excite and inspire everyone with his vision. We’re excited to honour him for the legend that he is.
