The first Morningside Blues Festival is all set to make a little history on Saturday, December 7.
It’s being held at the amazing new Brewery, Tap House, Grill & Bottleshop complex: Brisbane Brew Partners.
Morningside’s new home of over 100 beers! Brew Partners will be the new cultural hub for lovers of great beer, excellent live music & fine food.
Headlining the first festival are one of Australia’s premier blues and roots acts The Mojo Webb Band. With 2 Decades of performing under their belt, Mojo Webb is still a force of nature and his world class band of Coojee Timms on drums & JB Lewis on bass have that magic combination we all know & love.
The supporting cast are all high quality players including the Blues Associations 2010 Blues Performer of the year; Dillion James in his Duo and the exciting 1940’s to early 60’s classic electric blues-influenced team of Simon Warlo & The Colonel unveiling their new Trio format! Rounding out the bill are the exciting next gen players in DishpanHands Blues Band! With Matt Beagley and the lads on the case, the future of the blues is in safe hands.
